Baguio Retreat

Make Friends with Yourself, with People, and with Your God.

BE FRIENDS WITH YOURSELF, WITH PEOPLE, AND WITH YOUR GOD.

I am thankful to the opportunity given me to share the lessons I learned in life to my young friends, the 2nd year high school students of St. Louis University (Baguio) in September 2007. For five days, I was given the opportunity to share life lessons to  more than a hundred soul each day. And I took to heard every lesson I have learned from them.

I could have taken thousands of pictures. But you know me, I don’t shot pictures when I am speaking. (Who does?) So,just like the rest of the pictures here, you will see them when they are in group discussions. There were  fun activities which not captured. That’s one lesson I learned.

Another is about the effect of teachers to the students. I actually shared to Fr. Fernold that every teacher should have a retreat before the opening of classes, and another one before Christmas. Teachers should always be reminded of their role in helping the kids weave their own dreams. The retreat also inspired me to write about Pygmalion Effect in this blog.
