Great speaking is not about being the best. You can be the world champion of public speaking, but true speaking is not a contest on technical skills. In my book, there is no best among the best inspirational speakers.
Great speaking is about your being unique. When you go up there on stage, people want to know what is so special about you. That is because they want to see you and not a made up speaker. They want to hear your stories. They want to be connected with a genuine person, not an imitation.
Great speaking is about sharing your gifts with confidence. When people see the true you they will open their ears, eyes, hearts, and minds to you. Then your goodness and beauty will flow to them.
